During the reproductive season, male Sea Ravens develop specialized structures called claspers that are used to transfer sperm to the female. Males will court females by following them closely and engaging in courtship behaviors, such as nudging and vibrating their bodies. Once the female is receptive, the male will use his claspers to inseminate her.
